This article will walk you through the steps to using the tagging features in the MailRoom and the tag management view in Settings.
Applying a Tag on an item in the MailRoom
Applying a Tag to mail items in the MailRoom is simple and fast with the “Apply a tag” extended dropdown menu. The Tag Search functionality gives the option to quickly create a new tag when there is no match for the current search term.
From the Inbox, navigate to:
Tag Icon on the left in the mail item you want to tag > Click Tag Icon >
Choose an existing Tag or quickly add a new one
Filtering tagged mail items in the MailRoom
Customers also can filter tagged mail items from the Tags section in the MailRoom.
From the Inbox, navigate to:
Tags option in left column > Click to expand tag options > Choose the tag you want to filter > View mail items with tag selected
Tags view in Account Settings
Customers can also access the Tags section under Account Settings.
From any screen, navigate to:
Settings button on bottom left > Click Tags option in left column > Search, add, or delete custom Tags
From here, you can easily search for an existing tag, plus there is also the option to quickly create a new tag when there is no match for the current search term.
How to promptly add new Tags
From the main Tags screen, navigate to:
Click Add a new tag link > Enter tag name and click Add to save
How to delete existing Tags
From the main Tags screen, navigate to:
Click Delete button next to the Tag you want to delete > Then click Delete to confirm removal
