To begin using our Check Deposit services, you must first add and verify a U.S. bank account that accepts deposits by mail.
Before You Begin
Earth Class Mail can only support U.S. banking institutions that accept check deposits by mail, since physical checks are shipped directly to the bank for processing.
Some digital-only banking platforms, including Mercury, Brex, and Green Dot, do not accept mailed check deposits and are not supported for Check Deposit services.
Before adding your account, please confirm with your banking institution that they accept check deposits by mail.
Earth Class Mail users may set up an unlimited number of domestic U.S. bank accounts.
Important Information About Bank Deposit Addresses
Earth Class Mail ships all check deposits for a banking institution to a single deposit address provided by that bank.
At this time, we are unable to route deposits to a specific local branch or banker using our CheckStream service. All checks for the same banking institution are consolidated into a single daily shipment sent to the bank's designated processing location.
Each customer's checks are packaged individually but shipped together as part of the bank's daily deposit batch.
Before setting up Check Deposit services, please confirm with your banking institution that they accept mailed check deposits at their designated processing address.
Add a New Deposit Account
- Log in to your Earth Class Mail account.
- Navigate to Settings.
- Select Deposit Accounts.
- Click Add New BankAccount.
You will be prompted to enter the following information:
- Routing number
- Account number
- Account nickname
- Checking or Saving account
- Account holder name
- Account holder address
- Account holder phone number
Please ensure all information entered matches your bank records exactly.
Verify Your Bank Account
For security purposes, your bank account must be verified before it can be used for check deposits.
Verification may require supporting documentation, including:
- A voided check
- Bank statement
- Letter from your bank confirming account ownership
Additional verification steps may be required depending on your banking institution.
Processing and Delivery
Once your account has been added:
- Checks submitted for deposit will be physically mailed to your bank for processing.
- Delivery and processing times vary depending on your bank's policies and mail delivery timelines.
- Earth Class Mail is not responsible for delays caused by the receiving bank or postal carrier.
Unsupported Banks
At this time, Earth Class Mail does not support banks or financial platforms that:
- Do not accept mailed check deposits
- Require mobile-only or electronic deposit methods
- Do not process physical checks received by mail
Examples include:
- Mercury
- Brex
- Green Dot
